11 Things With Andrea #5

I’m trying to get better with keeping up with these posts because I know how much you guys love them. So here we are! New year, new 11 Things with Andrea.

  1. Should we start off with a bang? In case you missed it, I paid off my last student loan on Christmas Eve this year and now I am officially DEBT FREE! I can’t believe this moment is finally here after years of hard work and dedication. Let me know if you want me to write more about my debt free journey.

  2. I have officially joined the #PASHFAM and become obsessed with my Passion Planner. I have no idea how I’ve survived this long without one. Special thanks to my best friend Margaret (@edgewoodplace) who convinced me to take the plunge. This is the best planner I have ever purchased and it works so well for my brain.

  3. Coming off of working so hard to be debt free, I wanted to make sure I didn’t treat myself too much in January, so this month I’m doing a No Buy. This means, no extras but the necessities for the whole month of January. I figured this would help me transition into life where I’m not putting more than a third of my income towards debt!

  4. About a week ago I purchased the new iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m so happy with it so far! The picture quality is amazing and I’m excited to experiment with it as I continue to create new content for you this year!

  5. I received Alison Roman’s cookbook, Nothing Fancy, for Christmas and I’m already obsessed! The few recipes I’ve tried so far have been amazing and I’m excited to keep diving into more. If you like to feed your friends and family with cozy and easy meals that feel special, check it out!

  6. Speaking of cookbooks…I’m still trekking along on my own cookbook journey. Still working on recipe testing which takes a lot longer than you would imagine.

  7. For the first time in maybe ever, I feel like my two weeks off for the holidays was actually two weeks. I got rest, did puzzles, read books, took many naps, cooked and ate delicious food, and really relaxed. I think it also helps when you have created a life that you like getting back to. While it was nice to have a break, I’m so happy to be back to planning 2020 and amping things up for what this year has in store for AFB.

  8. I have a secret project coming for Galentine’s Day that I CANNOT wait to share with you! Stay tuned, but your hint is that it will be located in the SHOP tab…haha

  9. January was really hard for me last year. I think I even wrote a post about it? January is not usually my best month but this year feels so much better than years past! I think it has a lot do with being medicated for my anxiety and feeling like I have a stable but flexible plan for the month.

  10. I’m already more than half booked for 2020 and I cannot believe it! If you or someone you know is getting married and needs a makeup artist, send them my way or email me ASAP (andreafontanabeauty@gmail.com). I don’t want you to miss out!

  11. Mikey’s birthday is at the end of this month and I cannot wait to make his annual birthday cake. Every year I pick a theme based on something he loves. Previous years included the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Death Star, and Harry Potter. This year I’m thinking the West Wing? Stay tuned to my IG for that as well because you KNOW I’ll be sharing that labor of love when it’s done.

What’s going on in your life right now? Let me know in a comment below. I hope you feel rested and ready to start off the new DECADE on a strong note. I believe in you and I’m grateful every day for your support.

Have a great week,

Andrea

11 Things With Andrea #3

I can’t believe it’s been since March that I’ve done one of these posts! It just shows how time gets away from me during the start of wedding season. I’m happy to say that I’m getting back on track and bringing more consistent content to you now! So let’s get to it!

  1. I have fallen in love with thrifting. That is no secret if you follow my Instagram and you probably aren’t surprised that I’m talking about it first. I have learned so much from my best friend Margaret. Originally I was going to have her write a post about all of her thrifting tips and tricks, but her plate has gotten a little more full recently due to opening her own shop within a shop in Jackson, MI. Therefore, I am going to be compiling the tips and writing the post about thrifting and have her guest post soon about all the fun stuff shes doing with her new shop, so stay tuned!

  2. I keep chopping my hair and I’m obsessed. I feel like I’ve finally found the haircut that feels like the most me. It’s easy for most days when I want to shower and let it air dry, yet can still be pulled back when I need it out of my face (i.e. when I’m doing makeup). If you’re local to me, I go to Jenn Mina at Mirabella Salon in Okemos and she’s AWESOME! I finally have bed head that is voluminous, easy and not crazy flat… so basically Jenn has made me the happiest woman EVER!

  3. Cookbook is chugging along. I’m just testing recipes and fine tuning things so there’s not much to announce. I’m not sure if it’ll be out by my original goal of my 30th birthday (May 2020) but I’m telling myself that is perfectly fine. It will be ready when it’s ready.

  4. If you’re in the Lansing/Jackson or surrounding areas you should join me and a bunch of my favorite business babes in Jackson on Tues. July 16th from 7-8:30 pm at the Lean Rocket Lab, for a Michigan Tribe event called ‘No Such Thing as Balance: Finding your flow between work & play’. It’s going to be a panel based presentation and I’m really excited to hear about how other women balance all of the many roles we have while running a business. There are only a few tickets left so CLICK HERE ASAP, if you want one! If it’s sold out by the time you click on it, make sure you follow the IG account @michigantribe for information on the next event!

  5. Debt-Free update! I only have a little more than 8 grand left, and I feel like I am finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! I’m so excited to be done with this huge milestone!

  6. Am I the only one who feels like they need ice cream every day in the summer? I can’t stop, but that’s ok. I love it.

  7. I’m so excited for a new clothing boutique to open in Jackson soon. Apricot Lane is the new store that I did makeup for last month for a photo shoot and I’m so excited to go check it out this weekend. They are having their big grand opening this weekend from Friday to Sunday and I cannot wait to visit. The owner, Jenny, and all the ladies who work there are so kind and friendly so I know it’s going to be one of those places I just love to visit. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date and check out all of their cute items!

  8. I am currently booked for the next 16 weeks of bridal season and I couldn’t be happier. I know this means that the rest of summer and fall are probably going to fly by but every weekend I look forward to another special day with YOU; my Andrea Fontana Beauty Brides! I am currently booking for the 2020 bridal season, so be sure to click that ‘About Andrea & Contact’ page in the Menu bar and email me if you want to chat about your special day!

  9. I’m doing my best to cross local Michigan businesses off my bucket list this summer and talk about them either on here or my Instagram! Do you have any favorites that I should add to my list? Make sure to comment below and let me know!

  10. I spent the fourth of July in the UP in airplane mode for 48 hours and it was HEAVEN! I forgot how nice it is to be away from my phone except to take a million pictures of my niece Lily at her first cottage experience because….duh! The slowing down felt so good for my mental health and I loved getting up and reading on the front porch with the sound of the lake in the background.

  11. If you don’t already own at least one of these pairs of block heels from Target, do yourself a favor and get one, or all of the colors! The style is the Michaela Pump by A New Day and they are the perfect shoe! Great height and comfortable enough to wear for long periods or as a wedding guest who won’t leave the dance floor! I started with the nude and loved them so much that I bought the black and red too! I also have the Ema which is really easy to walk in as well, but not good for as long of a period of time as the Michaela. Although this is understandable since it is much taller. So many of you were obsessed when I shared the photo below on my Instagram, so I wanted to be sure to include them in this post!

public.jpeg

Those 11 things were really hard to come up with this time. haha I guess I don’t have a lot going on right now, which is fine with me. I love being able to work part time in the summer and relax a little more during the weekdays.

Has anything special or fun been going on with you? Comment below and let me know!

Have a great day,

Andrea

11 Things With Andrea #2

Let’s just jump right into it!

  1. I recently tried Fabletics for the first time and overall I loved my first purchase. I got two pairs of cropped leggings, one full length pair, and a sports bra that zipped up the front. I was really hoping to find a sport’s bra that was thick and good quality (the zipper ones usually are for higher impact sports), but unfortunately the fabric is just too thin to be super supportive. I LOVED the leggings though. The trinity high-waisted leggings are amazing. I highly recommend them. I asked you guys on IG your thoughts on Fabletics and most of you said that it’s not really great for sports bra, but the leggings and tops are awesome! While it is a monthly subscription I don’t think I’ll be purchasing every month (you can skip months), because I’m pretty set with leggings for now!

  2. I have been reading a lot recently (I’m on my 6th book for the month if that tells you anything). I did a book post recently (click here to check it out) and I’m excited to have some extra time next week to relax and read because the families I nanny for are on spring break! I picked up ‘The Shape of Water’, ‘Big Little Lies’ and ‘The Devil in the White City’ from the library and you all voted for me to start with ‘Big Little Lies’! I’m excited to read all three of these so make sure to check back in a little while to see my review on them.

  3. I currently have a GIVEAWAY going for a $100 Gift Certificate to JORD watches! If you haven’t entered it yet, CLICK HERE to check out the watch I was gifted for Mikey (my sweet watch obsessed other half). You don’t want to miss out on this awesome chance to win! You also get a 10% off code for entering so what do you have to lose?

  4. Wedding season begins this Saturday. While I had one wedding in January, this weekend starts the doing something almost every weekend for weddings and I AM SO EXCITED! I love my brides! I only have 2 Saturdays left and many Fridays and Sundays available so if you’re a 2019 bride who still needs a makeup artist, please contact me ASAP! (Click the CONTACT tab in the menu on the left).

  5. I’m really excited to be on track to be under $10,000 in debt by my 29th birthday this May (my goal is to be debt free by 30, which I am also on track for)! I know I don’t talk about it a lot on here, but for all of you working your butts off to become debt free, I AM WITH YOU! It’s probably my biggest goal that I’m working towards every day and if you’re also going through it, I know the struggles and tough work it takes. WE CAN DO IT!

  6. Please send all Netflix/Hulu/Prime recommendations my way. Like I mentioned before I have spring break coming up and am going to attempt to watch something since I suck at it. Working on learning how to be comfortable being relaxed and lazy, but it’s a process.

  7. I’m happy to report my anxiety is much lower than it was in January and February. I know I talked about it a lot on my IG and a little here, but if you don’t see me talking about it as much as I was, just know it is always something I am dealing with and working with. You are not alone. Always message me if you want to talk to someone.

  8. I’ve been trying a lot of new to me products from Drunk Elephant, Herbivore Botanicals, Tarte, Mad Hippie, etc and I’m excited to put together a post devoted to what I liked/ didn’t like.

  9. Cookbook writing is still coming along well! Every week I feel like I see the vision of my final cookbook becoming a little stronger which is really exciting. To all of you who consistently ask me how it’s going and are as excited as I am…you will NEVER know how much I truly appreciate your support and love. I am writing this cookbook for you and I think you’re going to love it! If you haven’t already signed up for cookbook updates, please click here to be added to my email list!

  10. If you’re in the Midwest, you’ve been experiencing some lovely SUN the last few weeks and it’s been AMAZING! Am I the only one who’s always constantly amazed at how much it affects our mood. We are different people when the sun is out and I love it! Spring is my favorite season so I’m excited to return to running outdoors and stopping to check up on all the blooms.

  11. If you caught Samin Nosrat’s phenomenal Netflix series, ‘Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat’ you might have checked out her cookbook of the same name. If you checked out her cookbook you probably oo’ed and aaah’ed at the beautiful artwork in it. I preordered these TO DIE FOR prints from the cookbook and if you need some extra kitchen art (I’m planning a beautiful kitchen gallery wall) you NEED to order these prints. They are so inexpensive for what beauty they really are!

  12. BONUS: This last one isn’t about me. It’s about you. You’re great. And I hope you’ll keep coming around to read what I write. I still get such amazing messages from you all about how my content is inspiring you and lifting you up and all I can say is, YOU are the one inspiring and lifting me up when you say these things. You are great! Thank you

Have the best weekend you tootie cutie patootie people,

Andrea

11 Things With Andrea

This is by no means my idea. I admit to have stolen this from one of my favorite blogs to read "The Middle Edit”. I absolutely love Allison and Shannon and if you don’t follow their blog and IG, you NEED to! They are what I’d consider a true lifestyle blog because they cover everything from health & fitness, to money, food, & more! Every month they share 11 things that are currently going on in their lives and I love this idea, because it allows you to learn a little bit more about them and read about certain topics that might not need a whole blog post devoted to them! So here I am stealing this idea from them because I LOVE it!

11 Things with Andrea:

  1. I recently got back into running after a 6 week break due to a really bad tailbone injury. I was so scared to get back on the treadmill because I didn’t want to face all of the progress I’ve lost, but I’m happy to say I wasn’t as slow as I thought I’d be. It felt like a ripping off a huge Band-aid, but I’m so happy to have had that first run and be back on track. If there’s something in your life that you need to rip the band-aid off for, DO IT! It’s scary, but worth it.

  2. I’ve been dealing with a lot of anxiety in my day to day life and I’m working on making some changes and getting back into my routine. I’ll keep you updated on how things go, but let me know if you want to see a post devoted to this.

  3. I don’t normally read crime books but this month’s book club pick is in this genre and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. I don’t think I’ll be reading too many in this category at once, because they still spook me a little bit, but it’s nice to be reminded to switch things up and get out of your comfort zone with even things like reading!

  4. Today’s my dad’s birthday and I’m feeling really grateful to have such a source of support and inspiration in my life. He’s always one phone call away and never misses a moment to teach me something useful. My blog and business wouldn’t be anywhere near where they are today without him.

  5. Bridal season is booking up! I am over halfway booked for the year, so if you or something you know needs a bridal makeup artist, make sure you contact me ASAP to get on my books!

  6. I watched ‘You’ on Netflix, but never really gave an update as to what I thought about it. I think I’m in a small category of people that didn’t end up liking it. I think they went too far with it and I just felt icky when I’d finish an episode. I just ended up feeling like I could have been doing something more enjoyable with my time, so I don’t think I’ll end up watching the second season.

  7. I’m getting a massage at the end of the month and I’m so excited for it. If you don’t know, I really struggle with relaxation and learning when to stop and take care of myself. I’m excited to incorporate this into my life every other month or so.

  8. Did you know my name is actually pronounced, ON-DRAY-UH? Don’t fret if you’ve called me 'ANN-DREE-UH’, I really don’t care. Haha, I just find a lot of people don’t know how it’s pronounced so I figured I’d teach you.

  9. I’m co-hosting an event in Jackson, MI on the evening of February 25th that I’m super excited about. I am in a monthly women’s mastermind group that I adore and this event is going to be a little taste into what we do and how to cultivate a community of entrepreneurs in your life that you can look to for support and guidance. If you or someone you know is a female entrepreneur in the Jackson or Lansing, MI areas, PLEASE visit this link to learn more and join us!

  10. I’m thinking about learning to make my own sourdough bread, starter and all because it seems to be the only gluten I can tolerate. Any amazing bread makers out there reading this and know a great recipe or cookbook to reference? Let me know!

  11. I know I kind of bashed the idea of goal setting for January but I decided I do have one change I want to make for 2019 (Thanks to Chelsea for asking this question in my IG stories post). I decided that this year I’m only going to say yes to things that ripple down positively into multiple areas of my life. If something can benefit more than just one category ( i.e. my business, my mental health, my physical health, my relationships, etc…) then it is worth my time. If something only strengthens one area but takes a lot of work, it’s not worth my time. This is all about my journey to finding a healthy work/life balance that works well for me.

What do you guys think about this kind of update? I like it so much and I hope you did to. Thanks again to Allison and Shannon for creating this fun way for me to brain dump the things I want to tell you, neatly in one post that makes more sense! Seriously check them out if you haven’t already!

Have a great day,

Andrea

Dre Does an Update

I'm here! I'm here! I promise. I'm back with an update because it doesn't feel right starting back up again after a month and not giving you some sort of explanation.

Long story short, I've been extremely busy working. Whether it has been doing makeup for weddings or being at the spa, I have been immersing myself in all things beauty. The spa that I work at (Remedi Spa and Wellness) is completely up and running which has been amazing, but it also means my hours have been unpredictable and extended (not that I mind completely devoting myself to something I believe so much in!)

With that being said, as days start to normalize, I'd like to get back in my habit of posting content for all of you beautiful people who love it and support me so amazingly. If you have ideas or requests, email me at andreafontanabeauty@gmail.com or leave a comment below.

If you'd like to come see me at the spa please feel free to visit remedispaandwellness.com for information on where to call and book an appointment and location! I do all sorts of services as a licensed esthetician that include facials, body treatments, brows waxing, full facial and body waxing, makeup, spray tans, and much more!

A little while ago I went back to using just one Instagram for both my life and Dre Does so feel free to click here and follow me to stay updated with every day things!

Have a beautiful weekend,

Dre

Dre Does Door to Door Organics

Since I was a senior in high school I have gone through periods of vegetarianism (Pescetarian if we want to get technical). It started as a requirement for health issues, but I have loved it over the years because having a restriction on my diet forces me to think about what I'm consuming. Growing up with a Brazilian farm boy father and maternal Italian grandparents who's farm I visited every weekend, I was taught all about the importance of not only eating produce, but growing it and eating locally. When I was two years old my grandparents lost me on their farm and found me with cuts all over my face from biting raspberries straight from the bush. I am so thankful that I was raised to appreciate fresh fruits and vegetables and not just look at them as 'two more bites' on your dinner plate.

My dad currently has a huge produce garden in his backyard that I can't wait to dive into this summer. Since we do live in Michigan and spend a lot of months covered in snow, I got used to visiting the local organic market with him every Sunday when I lived at home. He even visits the same cashier who always makes sure to tell him her latest jokes. He taught me to always take advantage of a good fresh market. Luckily, I have a similar market near where I live today. The only downfall is that it is about 15-20 minutes away from where I live and it's not near anything that I visit on a regular basis.

Over the past year I have noticed organic produce company ads popping up in various places; social media, TV commercials, etc. I personally get very inspired by going to the market and picking out the best looking fruits and veggies in season so I love to grocery shop and plan my meals that way. Since the market was not that convenient to me however, I was always wanting to try a produce delivery system but never got around to it. Luckily, my older sister who is queen of the coupons and getting amazing deals on everything, told me about Door to Door Organics. She recently started working full time for the first time since having my nieces so her free time has dramatically decreased. She raises her kids very similarly to how we were raised including gardening and eating tons of fruits and veggies so I knew that if she was recommending something to me it must be worth trying.

Door to Door Organics is a service that delivers organic produce and groceries to your house on either a weekly or biweekly basis. They offer different sized deliveries from the Bitty Mixed Box at $24.99 (which is the one I got) all the way to the Large Box at $59.99. Mixed refers to getting both fruits and veggies or you can get one or the other. You can also add pantry items and extras onto your order.

The Friday before your box is scheduled to be delivered, you get an email from Door to Door Organics stating that your box is ready to view. This means they have decided what to put in your box. You can then go view it on their easy-to-use website and either accept that box as it is or they give you the option of swapping up to 5 items in your box. I chose to swap a few but kept the majority of what they gave me. Below is a picture of what I got for my Bitty Mixed Box; 12 bananas, 1 bunch of kale, 2 zucchini, 1 cucumber, 2 grapefruit, 3 gala apples, 1 mango, and 3 small sweet potatoes. (All of it was obviously organic).

Below is what it looked like when I first opened the box.

As far as delivery goes, I like how they give you a space to leave some notes about how you wanted it delivered. I personally live in an apartment complex, so I asked that they leave it to the side of my porch which was nice. While over all I was pretty impressed with my box, I did decide to hold my subscription for the next few months for a few important reasons.

First, as a vegetarian I eat a lot of greens. Spinach and kale are huge for me and I wasn't very happy with how they came packaged in the box. They were just thrown into the mix and not wrapped separately so they came pretty bruised and sad looking. Secondly, with my dad owning a pretty good sized garden, I plan on getting a lot of my veggies from him in the coming months. Lastly, I absolutely hate to waste produce. You have to shop frequently as a vegetarian and this means I either have to get a larger box every week, or still go to the grocery store. As busy as I am, I feel like that will lead to waste and spending too much money. For all of these reasons, I've decided to wait on continuing my subscription until the winter months.

Overall, I think Door To Door Organics is a wonderful idea. If you're someone who is really busy, and doesn't have time to go to the grocery store as often as you need to, this would be a great addition to your diet. It makes eating organic much easier. As for me, I will be returning to my local market because I can't beat the freshness and the prices for the summer time.

If you are interested in trying Door to Door Organics, please email me at andreafontanabeauty@gmail.com and I would be happy to pass along a coupon code for $15 off your first box!

Have a beautiful night,

Dre

Dre Does DONATING!

I've never been so excited to post on Dre Does. Don't get me wrong, I love my makeup, but today's post is something special.

If you know me personally you know how much I love my hair. I was blessed with silky, smooth, easy to deal with and straight hair... (Thanks mom and dad!) I don't have to use heat on it unless I want curls, so it barely gets damaged and grows super quickly. Basically my whole life I've had medium to long hair...mostly super long hair to my waist though if I'm going to be honest. I'm the girl who freaks out when I have to get a trim because I hated losing any length. It was the one thing I was always known for; long, dark, healthy hair, so it became a security blanket in a way for me.

I will be turning 25 in a few short weeks and I got to thinking. I don't know if it was a quarter life crisis or what, but I wanted to do something different with it. I started looking at pictures of shorter haircuts and I realized something. I am so freaking blessed to hit 25 and be able to choose what my hair will look like. There are so many women my age and even younger that are diagnosed with cancer and may not get to see what 25 looks like. For this reason I decided I would chop off enough to donate my hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. I feel like it's a birthday gift to not only myself and I couldn't be happier!

Pantene Beautiful Lengths is a wonderful program that donates wigs for FREE to women undergoing cancer treatment. They can only accept hair that hasn't been chemically treated so I knew I had to donate mine. I have proudly never even gotten a single highlight on this head in my 25 years and knew that since most women can't say that, I should do my part! I highly suggest checking out the program especially if you don't color your hair. Grow it out and let it be a part of something that will bring a smile to another woman's face. As women we have to empower and support each other and I think this is a great way to support those going through difficult journeys.

Click the link below to visit the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program, check out the requirements and more!

Pantene Beautiful Lengths

Now for some pictures! Shout out to LC the greatest stylist in the world and a wonderful friend. I showed her 18 million pictures, described something that made no sense, and she somehow managed to give me the exact cut I had pictured in my head. You are so beautiful and talented!

This is me pretending that I wasn't freaking out on the inside.

This is a facial expression that more realistically shows how I was feeling.

When it's going to a good cause you can't help but smile from ear to ear!

Thank you LC!!

And what's a new haircut without a selfie to show it off better!

LC also recommended some new products for my hair and once I've mastered my favorite way of getting this beachy and messy style myself I will be sure to update you all on how I do it and what I use.

My friends please consider donating your hair! I've decided that for every year I'm lucky enough to be on this earth I'd like to donate my time or money in a different way; a way to give back and turn getting older into something exciting. Leave your suggestions for any ideas and please send me your pictures if you too donate your hair!!

Have a beautiful day,

Dre

20. Ever since I was a child I refuse to eat cake and ice cream on the same plate. I hate when the ice cream melts and makes your cake soggy! Yuck!

Truth: This post took me 3 days because it was that hard to come up with 20 random facts about myself! I hope you enjoyed and take time to visit Aundi's blog as well! To see who I tagged visit my Instagram account (@dre_does)!

Have a wonderful week,

Dre Does an Announcement!!

I'm here with a quick post to announce that I have just started working as an Arch Expert & Makeup Artist for Benefit Cosmetics!! I'm really excited for this new opportunity that I have been given with two companies that I have loved for years; Benefit Cosmetics and ULTA Beauty!! Unfortunately the spa I worked at had to close it's doors suddenly, so I am extremely grateful to move on to bigger and better things! Throughout life we are handed challenges that can cause a bit of a struggle. But with some reevaluation and strength we can always move on and get through them. Don't be afraid when something like this happens. I heard someone talking last week about how when something hard comes along it's adding to your story. When you look back years from now, it's the rough patches that will make your success story that much greater! So keep on fighting for your dream because it will be that much more worth it in the end when you've achieved what you want!

Have a beautiful start to your week,

Dre

Dre Does a Request Search

Good morning friends and happy Friday! I hope you all had a wonderful week. Since I've been getting a few requests recently I wanted to get a quick post up devoted just to asking if you have any requests for me to do! I love blogging even more when I know I'm helping and answering your questions so throw them all my way!

Also incase you missed it, I've started an Instagram for Dre Does! You can either click the banner at the top that says Instagram to go follow it or search the user @dre_does in the actual Instagram app. I've decided to separate my personal Instagram and the blog so only those who want to see my makeup obsession through pictures have to! I hope you will go follow and enjoy :)

If you're on Bloglovin' don't forget to follow me on there as well by either searching Dre Does or clicking the link to the right!

Look for some Fourth of July inspired posts coming your way this upcoming week!

Have a beautiful weekend,

Dre

Dre Does an Update

May has been the absolute craziest and most wonderful month yet this year. With that being said I feel like I owe you guys an update on my life and what 'Dre has actually been doing' besides blogging...haha so here it goes! We're going to keep it short and sweet!

Within the last 4 to 5 weeks I have:
-moved apartments!
-taken my boards and become a licensed esthetician!
-turned 24!
-been out of town every weekend for either work, visiting family, celebrating my birthday, or visiting friends in Chicago!
-started working at a new job at a wonderful spa with people I love!
-apartment/house hunted for my move in July (luckily I found it!)
-searched, interviewed, and accepted a second job as a part time nanny in the area I'll be moving to!

While all of these things have been keeping my life hectic and insane I wouldn't have changed a thing because I've been having a blast and enjoying this huge change in my life that is to come! I'm excited to move to a new place with new people and adventures to be had.

Dre will now start doing what she loves and get back to blogging ;) Feel free to leave any suggestions as to what that should entail!

Have a beautiful day,

Dre
